Thanks to numerous donations of items from BRAC members and art enthusiasts, the Blue Ridge Arts Center has acquired a continuously growing collection of art reference materials. Among these are a wide variety of books about individual artists, periods and styles, media, and collections. In addition,there are many instructional materials and book series, videotapes, and reproductions used as examples in art classes.

The Art Library is open to the public for browsing during regular Arts Center hours. BRAC members may borrow books and reference materials by checking them out through the office staff. This is one of the many membership privileges. Membership application forms are available on this site.

The books in the library have been cataloged. We are currently developing an electronic card catalog for this web site to provide our members search facility by subject, title and/or author. As with all of our features, we would like to hear any comments on how we could make this feature more beneficial to you.
